South Carolina Federation of Music Clubs
The mission of the South Carolina Federation of Music Clubs (SCFMC) is to stimulate and broaden interest in the musical activities in South Carolina; to participate in the work of the National Federation of Music Clubs; to bring into working relations with SCFMC music clubs and other musical organizations; to aid and encourage musical education and to develop and maintain high musical standards in the state.
National Federation of Music Clubs
Since its founding in 1898, the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) has grown into one of the world’s largest music organizations with club and individual members of all ages. The NFMC is chartered by the Congress of the United States, and is the only music organization member of the United Nations.
